Selection Process
To ensure a fair hiring process, Baker Tilly adopted a rigorous selection process aimed to only retain the most suitable candidates that are a great fit. If you are interested in any of the current opportunities, and to increase your potential, please read the following:
- You should review the job requirements to ensure your credentials are a good fit. Do not submit a resume if your credentials are not a good fit. We will not contact you.
- Only submit your resume in English language.
- Acceptable resume format is only PDF.
- Submit your resume through email. Do not provide a link. We will not click on it.
- Submit a cover letter in English describing how Baker Tilly will benefit from hiring you. This is your chance to tell us something that is not included in your resume. Be creative.
- Clearly indicate the position you are applying for. We will not guess.
- Multiple submissions of your resume will negatively affect your chance of getting hired. We review every resume we receive. One submission is sufficient.
Our selection process includes several stages as follows:
- Each resume shall undergo a 10-second review for key words that fit into the opportunity. If you do not hear from us within 14 days, unfortunately, your resume did not pass.
- Resumes that pass this stage will be thoroughly reviewed and ranked. Only the top 20 ranked resumes will be processed further. Unselected candidates will not receive any notification from us.
- The 20 selected resumes will be internally discussed and only 10 resumes shall be selected after this process. The unselected candidates will receive a thank you email.
- The 10 selected candidates will be invited to submit a video answering 2-3 questions.
- A virtual interview shall be conducted with the candidates that return their video reply to the questions. Of those, we will select up to 5 candidates for an interview. Please review the maximize your chance for tips.
- If you are not selected for the interview, we will email you a thank you letter detailing the reasons.
- After the interview, we will make our final selection and provide a written offer.
- If you are not selected, you will receive a thank you letter from us detailing the reasons of our decision.
- We normally require 14 – 30 days to complete the hiring process.
